English in the Chinese Foreign Language Classroom

This book examines English in 'Chinese as a foreign language classroom' from both a sociocultural and ecological perspective. It integrates studies of the internationalization of English with the teaching and learning of the Chinese language by focusing on the pedagogic functions of English as a lingua franca in the CFL classroom.
