Part of a seven-volume collection (published in nine parts, 1864-90) comprising translated Venetian state papers relating to England, Volume 4 contains documents from the years 1527-33, during the reign of Henry VIII. Editor and translator Rawdon Lubbock Brown (1806-83) was the great authority on the Venetian archives.
