Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln, born in 1809, served in the military for several months during 1832. In 1846 Lincoln was elected to one term in the US House of Representatives, where he denounced the US role in the Mexican War. In 1858 Republicans nominated Lincoln for US Senator.
