Labour-Intensive Industrialization in Global History

Calls for a major rethinking of our understanding of industrialization for global history, by focusing the East Asian experience of 'labour-intensive' industrialization and, reinterpreting the western experience of 'capital-intensive' industrialization and the experiences of countries in the regions of Asia and in Africa and Latin America.
