Gender Inequality in the Life Course

This book describes gender inequality in earnings and labor market participation in Germany between 1975 and 1995. Results from a life course analysis are contrasted with cross-sectional trends and a traditional life cycle model to show that answers depend in part on the data and methods used to explore it.
