History of Scotland: Volume 1, To the Accession of Mary Stewart

Peter Hume Brown's History of Scotland was first issued by the Cambridge University Press in three successive volumes from 1898 to 1909 and reprinted in 1911. This first volume covers the Roman invasion of Scotland in AD 80 to the end of the reign of James V in 1542.
