In The Eye of Storms follows the history of Cumbria from the earliest times to the end of the Dark Ages. This is history without the boring bits and with a generous sprinkling of humour, legend, whimsy, satire and surrealism. The story shows how Celts, Romans, Anglo-Saxons and Norsemen left their mark on the Cumbria of today.
