J. L. Austin's Concept of Performative Word

In what may seem as comparative religious studies, this title intends to undertake theological investigations in contemporary Black Africa with the Igbo tribe of south-east Nigeria as a case-study. It is based on J L Austin's concept of performative word, and to be analyzed in the context of sacramental theology and the Igbo traditional religion.
