Stories from Keating's "History of Ireland"

Selections Keating's major work, the `History of Ireland' are presented by the Irish language scholar Osborn Bergin. The work, completed in 1634, traces the history of Ireland from the earliest times to the invasion of the Normans in the 12th century. Bergin presents extracts from the romantic stories with an introduction, notes and vocabulary.
